- I come from a family of SIX Division I tennis players
in Kansas City,
- I have played competitive tennis since I was 10 years old.
- I have played at the highest levels of Juniors and reached the top 100 in the
nation for the 16's.
- I am a three year scholarship player on the University of Nevada Men's Tennis
Team playing all three positions in Doubles and played as high as three in
singles.
- I helped the Wolf Pack reach a national ranking for the first time in the programs
8 year history.

- I am a PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) certified instructor
- I have been skiing for 30 years and have been teaching for 11.
- I can teach children or adults at the beginner, intermediate or advanced level. Even if you are an expert looking for someone to help you explore the "steep and deep" of the black diamond terrain.
- I will meet you at your resort of choice!
- I can provide a written summary and "report card" at the end of each lesson.
The snow is always great up here in Tahoe. Save $$$ (compared to the resorts prices) and learn to ski by learning safety, improving on existing skills, forming the right habits, and applying the "modern skiing technique" to take advantage of ski design and be less fatigued at the end of the day.

Why pay one of the mountains $400+ dollars for a day of personalized lessons when you can get better coaching from a private, professional coach?
My passion in life is to show people how to do what I love. Nothing compares with the freedom you can feel on the mountain when your skills are dialed in. I thought I could leave the mountains and go to law school, but I dropped out after one semester (with good grades, even) because my happiness is fully intertwined with snowboarding and sharing snowboarding with people. My rates are friendly because I do this for the love of it, and I guarantee they will be a fraction of the resort ski school prices.
- Former competitor in boarder-cross and slope-style and have spent time studying with the best at Mt Hood, in Colorado and Lake Tahoe.
- Former member of the UC Davis Snowboard Team from (2001-2004)
- I have been riding for 17 years
- I can teach powder, trees, back-country, park, carving or just setting a foundation making solid turns on groomers.
- I will work with children of all ages and skill levels (Adults OK too).
Teaching people to find themselves on the board isn't about money, but check out how much you'll be saving anyway. I'm taking reservations for the coming season now. Make sure to book early (Although I will do my best to accommodate short notice bookings as well).
